BackThis is a technology platform that connects contributors with students raising funds for education. Contributions are processed through Stripe and sent directly to the student's (or guardian's) connected Stripe account. BackThis does not hold or control funds at any point.
If you believe a contribution was made in error, was unauthorized, or you have concerns about a student's page, please contact us at hello@backth.is. Students and guardians have the ability to issue refunds through their Stripe Express dashboard.
If you are unable to resolve a refund with the student or guardian, you may contact your bank or credit card provider to initiate a dispute. Stripe handles all payment disputes according to card network rules.
The 5% platform fee is non-refundable, as it covers processing costs incurred at the time of the transaction.
